With its origin near the Holy Gosaikunda Lake, Trishuli River is one of the nearest glacial rivers from Kathmandu. Trishuli is the best destination to have a day rafting trip. Trishuli River consists of some fast flowing grade III rapids, swimming in the river and lunch along the river bank. Some of the famous rapids loved by paddlers in Trishuli River are Snail's nose, Malekhu Rapid, Monkey Rapid and Surprise.

    Rafting in Trishuli River can be performed by every age group and is a paradise for beginners rafters. Adventure Treks Nepal has successfully operated 100s of groups in Trishuli River making us very reliable in the white water.

    As the river is situated between the Prithvi Highway (Kathmandu to Pokhara or Chitwan), Adventure Treks Nepal would like to suggest everyone to get off the highway for some time and participate in Rafting in Trishuli River.     Rowing in the growling Trishuli and exploring the surrounding areas we embark ahead with hard work and teamwork. Adventure Treks Nepal will pick you up at the hotel and arrange a private transport to the starting point of the rafting. The car will be waiting at the end point and pick you up further ahead towards your next destination.

    Essential Information
    • Clothes: We request everyone to bring Shorts / Swimwear and T-shirt to be worn during the rafting. You should have comfortable clothes allowing you to move and paddle without any difficulties.
    • Shoes: A sandal or a slipper would be a better idea than to wear shoes. Since you will be in contact with water shoes might get wet and your feet might experience wrinkles. You should have something that can get wet and still be on your feet while you navigate through the rapids.
    • Extra Items: Towels, Sunscreen, Lip Guard, Some Cash.
    • Lunch: We will provide Lunch such as sandwiches, pasta and vegetables along the river bank which gives you an authentic experience.
    • Transportation: Depending on the group size transportation will be decided by Adventure Treks Nepal. It will come to pick you at the Hotel and Drop you back to the Hotel or some other destination you prefer to visit.
