This tour offers you an excellent oppurtunity to explore the cultural site of Kathmandu, the peaceful Pokhara along with gentle morning trek from Nagarkot.

We will enjoy the cultural marvel and discover ancient Hindu and Buddhist relics in Kathmandu with several UNESCO sites in the valley. The next day we are heading to Nagarkot for the best Himalayan sunset and sunrise. The view from our hotel room is just breathtaking.

We fly to Pokhara to visit the famous Davis Fall, Fewa Lake and many other cultural and natural wonders.

Destination: Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Pokhara.

Itinerary

Day 01: Namaste Nepal: We arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu You will be transferred by the guides to the hotel. We check-in and you have free time in the evening to explore the city. Over night stay at Hotel Yak and yeti or similar.

Day 02: All Templed Out: Early breakfast at Hotel followed by a full day of sightseeing visiting the following: The 2,000 years old Buddhist shrine of Swyambhunath. Situated on the top of the hill west of the city, it's the most popular and instantly recognizable symbol of Nepal. The temple is colloquially known as the "Monkey Temple" because, well, you guessed it, there's a ton of monkeys "mokeying" around there.

From here we make a brief stop at the colorful Durbar Square, The Old Royal Palace of Kathmandu, Temple of living goddess Kumari and the Jagannath temple from the 17th century and famous for its colorful painted carvings, We also visit Kasthmandap temple, which is a three story temple built from a single tree in 12th century.

We then have a good bite to eat then head off to Patan which is also often referred to as Lalitpur, or "city of beauty". Patan has a long Buddhist History and the four corners of the city are marked by Stupas erected by the great Buddhist emperor Ashoka around 250 B.C. This is the second largest city and has several attractions like the Royal Palace, Bhimsen temple, Manga Hiti, King Yogaendra Malla's Statue, Krishna temple, Taleju temple, 15th century Golden Temple and Mahaboudha Temple (known as temple of 10,000 Buddhas), Kumbeshwar Temple, Bishwakarma Temple, Uma Maheshwar Temple.

After being all templed out we head back to the hotel for a good earned rest. Over night stay at Hotel Yak and yeti or similar. (Breakfast Included).

Day 03: Nagarkot: After having breakfast at the hotel we visit Pashupatinath temple, which is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the World, next to the holy river Bagmati with its burning ghats. and the burning ghats and visit one of the oldest and biggest stupa of Boudhanath.

We then lunch and drive to Nagarkot which lies 35 km east of the Kathmandu city at an elevation of 7200 ft., offering over 200 miles of panoramic views across the Himalayas from Mt. Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west, With any luck, we should be able to catch a stunning sunset view from here before heading back to the hotel. Over night stay at Hotel Club Himalaya or Similar. (Breakfast Included).

Day 04: Temples Galore: In the early morning we head for a short hike up the hill to observe the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas. After a hearty breakfast, you'll have a short Hike to Telkot (If you like) then drive back to Bhaktapur (15 km away from Kathmandu) (One of the Oldest Temple in the Valley). Upon arrival, you'll head out on a sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city known as the city of devotees and the center of medievel art and architecture. There you'll visit Nepal's most beautiful temple: Nyatpola temple, the 15th century palace of 55 windows, Golden Gate and more. After a long day, you'll head back for your overnight stay at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel Yak and Yeti or Similar. (Breakfast Included).

Day 05: Fly to Pokhara: After breakfast in the Hotel we transfer to the domestic airport then we take flight to Pokhara (about 25 M), the beautiful lake city and catch great views of the Himalayas from the right side of our airplane. After landing in the Pokhara airport we drive to the Hotel, Afternoon: We have a half day sightseeing tour of Bindhyabasini Temple known for its fabulous view of the city and mountain ranges. Catch a glimpse of the unique waterfall, Davis fall (Tibetan Camp at Chorepatan), home to the legend of the Devi's fall (to add a little mystery to your adventure, be sure to ask about the legend when your there). You then head to the illustrious Gorkha Museum that represents the mountains, people, and the area's environment. Overnight stay at the hotel. Hotel Fishtai Lodge or Similar. (Breakfast Included).

Day 06: Breakfast at Hotel fly to Kathmandu: Before Breakfast:
Very early in the morning wake up call for visit to Sarangkot (1,592m) (drive 30 minutes). One gets to see the sunrise and the magnificent views of the Himalayan like Mt Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), AnnapurnaIII (7,555m), Machhapuchere (6993m). Back to Hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast at Hotel in Pokhara we have we have a mountain flight (about 25 M), to Kathmandu; it is a thrilling exciting flight over forests, fields and villages with the Himalayas at the background. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Hotel Yak and Yeti or Similar. (Breakfast Included).


Day 07: Farewell: After you breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your flight back home after your noon checkout time. (Breakfast Included). (Check out time at 12:00noon).

Note: Nationals of following countries are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their nearby Diplomatic missions (Embassies/consulates) of Nepal Government. In other words these nationals won't get on arrival visa until and unless they have official letter issued from Ministry of Home Affiars Nepal.
