Detail Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): Upon your arrival, a representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for a briefing meeting once you have settled in. Please let us know if there is anything special you would like to do while in Kathmandu. We can help you arrange that. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara [970 m] - (B): Early in the morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal's lake city. Our bus follows a winding road over the valley rim and descends onto the Trisuli River. The journey is slow and steady as the road winds through villages and passing terrace fields before reaching our destination.
Pokhara is best known for its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Normally, we arrive by mid afternoon so you have time to explore or relax as you prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ulleri [2,020 m] - (B,L,D): After your breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara we begin our drive to Nayapul which is approximately 40 k.m. from Pokhara. The drive will take around 1 hour 30 min after which we will begin our trek. The first part of the trail takes us to Birethati where we will check in our ACAP permit and TIMS. We then cross the river at Birethati and head left along the gentle slope to Tikhedhunga where we cross the Bhurungdi Khola River on two suspension bridges. After crossing the river we will start the steep climb to Ulleri where we will be spending the night. (Drive 01-01:30 Hours). Trek (05-06 Hrs). Overnight stay at Tea House.
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani [2,810 m] - (B,L,D): After breakfast we continue our trek towards Ghorepani through the settlements of Banthati and Nangethati. We also pass a spring inside the forest after Banthati. Crossing the spring by a bridge we continue towards our destination. Occasional views of the peaks give way to a narrower valley, passing through Rhododendron forest then eventually reaching the village of Ghorepani where we spend a night. Trek (03-04 Hrs). Overnight stay at Tea House.
Day 05: Trek to Chule [2,375 m] via Tadapani [2,630 m] - (B,L,D): Your guide will check the weather forecast and let you know the sunrise time. We will hike up to Poonhill early in the morning and return back to the tea house for breakfast. The sunrise from Ghorepani is said to be one of the best sunrise as the Annapurna , Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayan Range which includes Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Barahi Shikhar, Machhapuchhre offer breathtaking views.
After breakfast we continue trekking towards Chuile. The first part of the trek is an ascent to Thabala Hill from where we will observe magnificent views of the Himalayas. We will then descend down to Deurali where we pass a few teahouses and continue towards Banthanti where we will have our lunch. The trail then descends to a river from where we again climb up to Tadapani from where we take a left towards Chule. Overnight stay at Tea House. Trek (05-06 Hrs).
Day 06: Trek to Chhomrong [2,170 m] - (B,L,D): The day begins on a sheer path inside the Rhododendron forests after your breakfast and onto the terraced fields which seems absolutely stunning. We then climb unwaveringly passing exalted waterfalls and cross a suspension bridge. The trail ahead is a fixture of ups and downs finally reaching Chhomrong, our final destination for the day. It is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massif. Overnight in Chhomrong. Trek 04-05 hours (Trek). Overnight stay at Tea House.
Day 07: Trek to Deurali [3230 m] - (B,L,D): After breakfast we leave Chhomrong and head towards Chhomrong Khola. We cross the river on a suspension bridge and start trekking uphill high above the Modi Khola on its west bank. We reach Kuldi, a village at 2,340m via Tilche and Sinuwa. The trail then is a steep stone staircase heading in the direction of Bamboo where we will have our lunch. The trail continues along the west bank of the Modi Khola valley through dense bamboo forest, occasionally dropping to cross tributary streams, but ascending continuously, and reaches the settlement of Doban at 2630m. We finally reach Deurali after passing Hinko Cave at 3,160m from where Deurali is 30 min away. Overnight in Tea house. Walking hour 07-08 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Annapurna Base camp [4130 m] - (B,L,D): The valley broadens and is less steep above Deurali. This day is also the highlight of the trek. The path resumes to meet Modi Khola which takes us to BAgar, a meadow at 3,310m. Ascending ahead we reach at the foot of Fishtail, Machhapuchhre Base Camp where we stop for our lunch. After lunch with extraordinary mountain views we continue our journey towards Annapurna Base Camp which will take around 2-3 hours. On arrival at ABC we get a superb view of the near vertical south face of Annapurna that towers above the Sanctuary to the north-west, which was climbed in 1970 by Don Whillans and Dougal Haston on an expedition led by Chris Bonington. The views of Annapurna Range once we reach at the base camp are beyond explanation. Overnight in Tea house. Walking hour 06-07 hours.
Day 09: Trek to Bambo or Sinuwa [2,340 m] - (B,L,D): After spending a night at the Base Camp we retrace our footsteps back to Bamboo on the same trail we used to get to the Base camp. The trail today is quite easy as it will be mostly downhill. If possible we will trek further ahead to Sinuwa. We will have marvelous sceneries always cheering us while we retrace our footsteps back to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo. Trek 7-8 hours. Overnight stay at Tea House.
Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda [1,760 m] - (B,L,D): After your breakfast we will resume our trek towards Jhinu Danda where the hot water springs are waiting for us. We will ascend to Kuldighar followed by a descent to Chhomromg Khola. The hot spring at Jhinu Danda is a perfect medicine to heal your aching body after a long trek. We can spend our remaining time relaxing at the hot spring in Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda. Trek 04-05 hours. Overnight stay at Tea House.
Day 11: Drive to Pokhara [970 m] - (B,L): From Jhinu Danda the trail descends towards the river where we will cross a long suspension bridge, longest of the whole trip. After crossing the bridge we begin to hike uphill. On our way we drive alongside the Modi Khola River. Around an hour hiking and 03-04 hrs driving. Lunch will be in Pokhara and after lunch leisure time.
Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): We take a thrilling mountain flight to Kathmandu. Arriving at Kathmandu we will transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 13: In Kathmandu free day [1,338m] - (B): You have a full free day in Kathmandu. This is a good time to explore the Monkey Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square. Likewise, this is your last day, so do not forget to buy souvenirs. Window shopping in Thamel is quite famous among foreigners.
Day 14: Fly back home - (B): A representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will drop you to the airport. Return back home with the memories of that last lifetime.
